Terms of Service

Last updated October 24, 2026

These terms apply when you use nyfinepay.com (the “Service”). By searching for tickets or paying through the Service, you agree to them.

What we do

nyfinepay is an independent, privately owned payment service. We look up open New York City parking and camera tickets, show you what is owed, and, when you ask us to, submit your payment to the city on your behalf.

We are not the government

We are not the City of New York or any government agency, and no agency endorses us. You can pay your tickets directly with the city, which may cost less than using our Service.

Fees

You pay the fine amount shown, which goes to the city; the 2% credit card fee the city charges, which also goes to the city; and one nyfinepay service fee. The total, including every fee, is shown before you enter payment details and again at checkout.

Your authorization

When you confirm payment you authorize us to charge your payment method for the total shown and to submit the fine amount to the city for the tickets you selected.

Accuracy

Ticket details and amounts come from city records at the time of your search and can change, for example when penalties are added. We do our best to keep information current but cannot guarantee it. If a ticket's amount changes before we submit it, we will contact you.

What we do not do

We do not give legal advice, dispute or reduce tickets, or handle hearings. To contest a ticket, use the city's process.

Refunds

See our Refund policy.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Service is provided “as is” and our liability for any claim is limited to the service fee you paid for the transaction in question.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
