This policy explains what we collect when you use nyfinepay.com and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Search details: the plate and state, or summons number, you enter to find tickets.
- Order details: the tickets you choose to pay, and your name, email address and billing address. The city's payment form and your card issuer require them, and we use your email to send your receipt.
- Payment details: your card number and security code are typed into secure fields hosted by our payment processor, Evervault, and encrypted in your browser. We receive only the encrypted values, the expiry date, the card brand and the last four digits, and we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and reliability.
How we use it
- To find your tickets, process your payment and submit it to the city.
- To email your receipt and respond to support requests.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
Who we share it with
Only with the parties needed to provide the Service: the city (to record your payment), our payment processor, and service providers that host and secure the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie that keeps your search and order together while you use the site. It is removed after an hour of inactivity. We do not use it for advertising.
Retention
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, disputes and legal requirements, and delete other data when it is no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask to access or delete your information by contacting us. Residents of some states have additional rights; we honor them where they apply.
